The DU091 600 x 600 x 70mm C250 Double Seal Ductile Iron Manhole Cover is a premium access cover manufactured from high-strength spheroidal graphite ductile iron for commercial and infrastructure projects requiring enhanced sealing performance. Certified to BS EN124-2:2015 and carrying the BSI Kitemark, it is suitable for Group 3 installations, including kerbside locations extending up to 500mm into the carriageway.
As part of the Eccles EasySeal range, the DU091 incorporates a double rubber sealing system, providing improved air tightness, reducing odour escape and helping minimise surface water ingress. The double seal also reduces cover movement, helping to deliver quieter operation in areas subject to regular vehicle traffic.
Featuring a 600 x 600mm clear opening, 742 x 742mm overall frame and 70mm frame depth, the DU091 is suitable for both new installations and replacement projects. Its SmartGrip® anti-slip surface provides excellent slip resistance in wet and dry conditions, while the durable black coated finish delivers long-term protection in demanding environments.
