The 675 x 675 x 50mm B125 EasySeal Ductile Iron Manhole Cover (DU125) is designed for larger residential and light commercial inspection chambers where a 675 × 675mm clear opening is required. Manufactured from high-strength spheroidal graphite cast iron and certified to BS EN 124-2 Class B125, it provides a durable, reliable and long-lasting access solution for areas subject to occasional light vehicle traffic.
Suitable for Group 2 applications, the DU125 is ideal for domestic driveways, private parking areas, residential developments and utility inspection chambers where larger access is required without moving to a heavier commercial load class. Tested to withstand a 125kN (12.5 tonne) load, it delivers dependable everyday performance for residential and light commercial drainage systems.
The cover incorporates EasySeal technology, creating an effective airtight seal when packed with grease to help reduce odour escape from below-ground drainage systems. Its SmartGrip anti-slip surface has been independently tested to achieve a PSRV value greater than 70, providing excellent slip resistance for both pedestrians and occasional vehicular traffic.
Manufactured from high-strength ductile iron with a durable black protective coating, the DU125 offers an excellent weight-to-strength ratio while remaining fully recyclable at the end of its service life. Optional factory upgrades including rubber seals, locking mechanisms, venting and customer badging allow the cover to be specified for more specialised drainage and utility projects.
