This F900 ductile iron manhole cover and frame is designed for use in locations subject to extreme wheel loads, where failure would present a serious operational or safety risk. Typical applications include ports, aircraft pavements, transport yards, loading bays and heavy industrial sites, where sustained HGV, plant or specialist vehicle traffic is expected.
The cover features a double triangular lid configuration with a non-rocking 3-point suspension system, ensuring maximum stability and consistent load distribution under extreme loading conditions. Manufactured from high-strength ductile iron, the unit provides long-term durability and structural integrity in the most demanding environments.
Fully compliant with BS EN 124:2015 (Group 6 – F900) and BSI Kitemarked, this cover is suitable for specialist infrastructure projects where the highest load classification is required.
