R&B-Drain Defender Reusable Gully Protection System

The R&B Drain Defender is a reusable gully protection system developed for construction, civils and highway applications where effective silt and hydrocarbon control is required without restricting drainage performance.

Installed directly into the gully pot, the Drain Defender captures silt, debris, general waste and harmful hydrocarbons before they enter the drainage network. The system is designed to retain up to 100% of materials over 2mm, while maintaining flow rates even during heavy rainfall events.

Manufactured in the UK using recycled materials, the Drain Defender is lightweight, reusable and transferable between sites, making it a practical and environmentally responsible alternative to disposable gully protection products. A replaceable hydrocarbon filter allows continued use over its service life, improving cost efficiency and environmental performance.

The system has been independently flow tested and is suitable for house building, civil engineering, road construction and commercial construction projects, where protecting waterways and preventing expensive remedial drainage works is critical
