This 450mm inspection chamber kit provides a complete modular solution for higher capacity underground drainage systems where a 160mm main connection is required.
Designed around a 450mm chamber base with 160mm main inlet and outlet, this system is well suited to larger domestic builds, adoptable-style layouts and light commercial drainage applications where increased flow capacity is needed. Unlike fixed pre-assembled chamber kits, this modular system is supplied for on-site assembly, allowing the chamber depth to be adjusted using riser sections to suit invert levels and site conditions.
A key advantage of this chamber base is its flexible connection layout. In addition to the 160mm main inlet and outlet, it also includes integrated 110mm side branch connections, making it ideal for mixed pipework systems and reducing the need for additional junctions or fittings on site. This gives installers more flexibility when tying smaller branch runs into the main drainage line.
The chamber is suitable for foul and surface water drainage systems and can be configured up to 1.2m depth in accordance with Building Regulations Part H for non-man entry applications. Cover options allow the system to be matched to pedestrian or light vehicle loading depending on the installation area.

Delivery & Lead Time
Lead time is typically 2-3Â working days, subject to availability at the time of order. Deliveries are made on large commercial vehicles and goods are supplied palletised, with customer offload normally required. If site access is restricted or mechanical offload is needed, please advise at the point of order so alternative arrangements can be made.
