The 600 x 450 x 42mm B125 EasySeal Ductile Iron Manhole Cover (DU043) is designed to provide reliable access to drainage and utility chambers in residential and light commercial environments. Manufactured from high-strength spheroidal graphite cast iron, it offers an excellent weight-to-strength ratio while delivering the durability expected for everyday installations.
Certified to BS EN 124-2 Class B125 and independently BSI Kitemarked, the DU043 is suitable for Group 2 applications including domestic driveways, pedestrian areas, private parking spaces and locations where occasional light vehicle traffic is expected. Tested to withstand a 125kN (12.5 tonne) load, it provides dependable long-term performance for residential drainage systems.
The cover incorporates EasySeal technology, creating an effective airtight seal when packed with grease to help minimise odour escape from below-ground drainage systems. The SmartGrip surface pattern has been independently tested to achieve a PSRV value greater than 70, helping provide excellent slip resistance in wet conditions for both pedestrians and vehicles.
Finished with a durable black protective coating, the DU043 is fully recyclable at the end of its service life and is available with optional factory upgrades including rubber seals, locking mechanisms, venting and customer badging to suit more specialised project requirements.
