The 1220 x 680 x 50mm B125 EasySeal Ductile Iron Manhole Cover (DU085) is a heavy-duty ductile iron access cover designed for larger inspection chambers where a 1220 × 680mm clear opening is required. Manufactured from spheroidal graphite cast iron and certified to BS EN 124-2 Class B125, it provides a durable and reliable solution for drainage and utility installations subject to occasional light vehicle traffic.
Suitable for Group 2 applications, the DU085 is ideal for domestic developments, private parking areas, service yards, utility chambers and light commercial projects. Tested to withstand a 125kN (12.5 tonne) load, it offers dependable performance while maintaining an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
The cover incorporates Engineered Slide technology, allowing smoother and more efficient access for inspection and maintenance. Combined with the SmartGrip anti-slip surface, independently tested to achieve a PSRV greater than 70, the DU085 delivers excellent safety under both wet and dry conditions.
Manufactured from durable ductile iron with a protective black coating, the DU085 offers excellent corrosion resistance and a long operational life. Optional factory upgrades including venting, customer badging and sealing plates allow the cover to be tailored to individual project requirements.
