Visqueen Radon R400 is a high-performance radon membrane designed to protect buildings from harmful ground gases and moisture. At 0.4mm thick, it’s suitable for both basic and full radon protection areas and also acts as a damp proof membrane (DPM). Supplied in a red 4m x 20m multi-folded roll, it’s ideal for new builds, extensions, and refurbishment projects.

• Can be jointed using tape or heat welding
• Compatible with Visqueen accessories and jointing systems

Applications:

• Radon barrier for residential and commercial builds
• Use above or below ground-bearing floors
• Ideal for extensions, new builds, and refurbishment
• Not suitable for areas with hydrostatic pressure

Installation Overview:

• 150mm overlaps (or less if heat welded)
• Seal joints with Visqueen tapes or foil lap tape
• Use Top Hats or Detailing Strips for pipe penetrations
• Install over a smooth substrate (e.g. sand blinding or concrete)
• Must be covered promptly to prevent UV and site damage
